for their generous support of CharityWorks' Programs.
The Allegany Franciscan Foundation is guided by the
mission and rooted in the tradition of the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany,
is a catalyst for systemic change by committing resources and working
collaboratively with others to promote physical, mental, spiritual,
societal, and cultural well-being in communities served.
The Nichols Foundation was created in 1923 by
Clearwater Rotarian Ralph Coxhead's great-grandfather, William Henry
Nichols, who founded Allied Chemical Corporation (now Allied Signal
Corporation). The philanthropic foundation has provided grants to worthy
non-profit organizations in Florida for 75 years.
